I don’t know if this was intended, but I noted that the frame is easy to remove, perhaps if you wanted to use the mirror frameless. I took advantage of this and rotated the frame, so that the rubber seam was at the bottom of the mirror, which made it much less noticeable to me.

Since I’m not sure that’s supposed to be removed/replaced, I’d be careful if you attempt that, so you don’t stretch it too much and cause a split (at the seam probably).
